- When clients contact Abundant Life Organizing, we will have a free, in-depth phone conversation getting basic client information, learning about the goals of the organizing project, evaluating if we are potentially a good fit for the clients, and setting an appointment time for a home assessment.
- As a Professional Organizer, I will guide clients through the process of purging, sorting, and organizing their personal spaces. In doing so, clients will regain clutter-free homes, more free time, and freedom from the stress of disorganization.
- I will help clients set goals for how the space will look and function when the project is complete. Throughout the process, I will remind clients of the end goal and help them achieve it.
- I will help clients find a starting place for their organization project, guide them through the sorting, purging, and organizing process, and teach them good habits to keep the organizational systems in place.

- No longer used
- A source of stress
- Damaged or broken
- Unnecessary
- Should be kept because the item is:
- I will remind clients that by donating their abundance, they will bless others.
- Under no circumstances will I purge an item without the permission of the client. I will not force a client to get rid of anything but remind them of the value of the abundant space they will create by letting go.
- I will do my best to work with clients’ emotional, spiritual, and physical needs as they pertain to the organizing project. I offer a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory, and confidential service.
- I will take before and after pictures of clients’ spaces in order to track progress. These pictures will not be used for any other purpose without written permission from the clients.
- I will help clients find organizing solutions and establish systems that are easy to maintain to keep their spaces clutter-free.

What is the client’s role?
- The clients must be ready for change.
- Before the assessment, clients should not do any cleaning, tidying, or organizing so that the organizer can make a valid assessment of the project. During the assessment, clients need to be honest about their current habits, strengths and weaknesses of organizing, and goals for the project.
- The clients must be present during the organizing sessions to make the decisions about what to keep, what to purge, and approve the organizing solutions presented by the organizer.
- The clients need to understand that the organizing project, especially if it is a whole house transformation, is a process. It will take time and look worse before it looks better, but the end result will be a significant change for the best!
- The clients need to provide a safe working environment for the organizer, i.e. – refrain from smoking, not spraying cleaning chemicals or beauty products, restraining pets, etc.
- The clients are responsible for paying for the organizing supplies needed to complete the project.
- The clients should communicate openly and honestly if their needs or expectations are not being met.
How long will it take to complete the project?
It depends on the size of the room and the speed at which the clients can make decisions as they sort through their possessions. Here are some general guidelines.
- About 12 to 16 hours to complete a living room, dining room, kitchen, family room, bedroom, or playroom
- 16 to 24 for a garage, basement, or storage space,
- 2 to 6 hours for a small or medium closet
- 4 to 12 hours on a bathroom, large closet or office space.
